This page outlines our most frequently asked questions. One of the things that we are constantly trying to improve is clarity to the customer on what to expect. Buying a custom suit designed specifically for you is supposed to be a rewarding process. We know that there are so many options and general questions about suits and what it really takes to not only build a safe suit but also one of quality.     1. What is the average turnaround time for your products?

Answer – Six to Eight weeks from when all supporting documents are submitted and approved.

    1. What is the difference in materials your suits are constructed of?

Answer – Hazardous suits have many options for suit construction materials ranging from 1.1 mm CE Certified Kangaroo to 1.4mm CE Certified Cowhide for extra protection. Kangaroo is the lightest and most abrasive resistant per MM and adds an unexplainable level of comfort. Kangaroo which is the lightest leather on the market which is about 40% lighter than a suit of the same size in cowhide. Our Hybrid models offer the best of both worlds by offering a kangaroo torso and cowhide limbs offering maximum durability combined with comfort and a lightweight alternative.

Our suits have many options for armor ranging from CE Certified products to meet and exceed the upcoming new standards for 2018. Currently we use brands like Knox Armor among a few others. Additionally, in the CE zone 4 areas we use a very durable and dense polyester stretch panel that will provide added flexibility and extended life to your suit.

    1. Payment options?

Answer – We offer all major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. All Custom products must be paid for in full before production begins and no refund will be issued for a change of heart or any other reason after project production has started.

    1. What is your return policy?

Answer – Stock Size and standard products can be returned in unused, new condition up to 15 days after purchase and will incur a 15% restocking fee.

    1. Am I able to track my order? If so, How?

Answer – Currently your build can only be tracked via email. We have plans to add a “Track my build” to our website section in the near future.

    1. How do I create an account?

Answer – Sign up is easy and can be done here

    1. What colors can I choose from?

Answer – You have your choice of any Pantone Coated and or Neon color when building any custom product. Please understand that we are dying an animal hide. We try our best however, sometimes tint maybe off slightly from the color chip itself. Rest assure that we try our best to give you the best color match possible.

    1. How do I find my size? Do you have a size chart?

Answer – Please use one of our sizing charts to choose the smallest size that fits your largest attribute. Shelf sizes will rarely fit perfectly. This is primary reason why we offer custom tailored products.

    1. Where can I have my gear repaired?

Answer – Please email tailor@hazardousracing.com for detail. Pics really are worth a million words, so please share what issues you may be having with any of our products.

    1. Can I cancel my order?

Answer – Orders may be canceled prior to the start of any custom build. If you purchased a stocking item your order can be canceled before the shipment has occurred.

    1. What if my suit doesn’t fit?

Answer – Great question! Standard fit suits can be exchanged if it is in new and unused condition. Shipping will be the sole responsibility of the buyer. Custom fit suits are made to measure. We guarantee that a suit will be made to your measurements or we fix it. No questions asked. If you provide the incorrect measurements we can not guarantee fitment, however we do guarantee we will build to your requested measurements so measure twice just to be sure. If you have any questions while taking measurements please ask. After all that is really what we are here for!

    1. Can I add additional protection to my suit?

Answer – We offer some of the best protection available but some want more. For example armored shorts. If you would like to add an additional product like this please be sure to take all measurements wearing these products and nothing more!

    1. Which material(leather) is the most durable?

Answer – Kangaroo is the most durable per MM but will not crash as many times as a thicker cowhide suit. If you plan on, or are person who spends a lot of time on the asphalt our 1.4MM cowhide will provide you the most longevity.

    1. Do you ship outside of the United States?

Answer – Of course we do. Most of our products included standard ground shipping. If shipping isn’t included you will see your estimated shipping cost in your cart on the checkout page.

    1. What kind of warranty or guarantee do you offer?

Answer – We take pride in our quality and craftsmanship. We can guarantee our products to be free of any manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase.

    1. Do you offer financing?

Answer – We offer gift certificates. You can purchase them in nearly any denomination here. Once you have accumulated the proper amount to cover your order we are here for you.

    1. Do you offer any sponsorship programs?

    1. Where are your suits manufactured?

Answer – Our suits are proudly manufactured in Pakistan to our tried and tested standards and your build specs. Pakistan offers some of the best leather craftsman in the world today. This is the same as for almost all other custom leather manufactures in the world today. We are very proud to work closely with our manufacturer on a daily basis. Although we have chosen the best of the best manufacturers there not all are created equal. We DO NOT put the Hazardous Racing name on just any suit. All of our designs and products have been tested in the most rigorous conditions to ensure YOUR safety!

    1. How much wood is a woodchuck chuck?

Answer – NONE because a Woodchuck doesn’t chuck wood ?
